I am a resident of Guernsey. I need access to the Government website because it provides services that I am obliged to use. Unfortunately, it looks like they are running so scared of being called out on dishonest practices that, as of this morning (3/01/2024), I’m blocked from their server.
My IP address is shared amongst a handful of people, and I doubt any of them have any interest in Guernsey. Therefore, I am almost certainly the only person to access gov.gg from this address.
It was only last night that the new version of this website went live.
Update: As of 12/01/2024 the block appears to have been lifted. Publicity works wonders.
If I use a VPN, I can get in. So it’s a specific block.
